Tough Mudder 2017

Posted by Anne-Marie on January 19, 2017

Sign up for Tough Mudder in aid of Get A-Head and take on a challenge of strength, stamina and mental grit.

The Tough Mudder® events are described as hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses specifically designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, determination, and camaraderie.

Events take place around the UK during 2017 and you can test yourself over a course taking on log hurdles, conquering forests and battling your way over natural water obstacles. The course is designed to play on common human fears such as fire, water, electricity and heights. You are sure to be in pain but you will have done an amazing thing for patients suffering from all Head and Neck Diseases.  Take a look at the video for a taste of what you’re taking on.

Get A-Head is entering the Midlands event on Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st May at Belvoir Castle in Grantham.  The majestic 16,000 acres surrounding the castle will once again play host to miles of the tortuous course and a twisted collection of new and classic Tough Mudder obstacles.

10 – 12 Miles, 20+ Obstacles

You and your team are going to need to bring some serious mental grit to make it around this course which promises lung-busting hills in addition to woodlands, water and yes, tons and tons of mud. Don’t contemplate it for too long, just sign up and gather your friends. You’re going to need them.
