The event was held in the grounds of Boughton House, one of Britain’s grandest and best-preserved stately homes, and saw the competitors take on a gruelling 12 mile extreme obstacle course, taking on 24 obstacles with names as extreme as the obstacles themselves.  Starting with Skidmarked, the team than took on such obstacles as Arctic Enema 2.00, The Mud Mile (twice) & King of the Swingers before finishing with Everest 2.0 and Electroshock Therapy.

After the event Julie Turbitt said:  ‘I for one am exhausted, I have aches in places I didn’t think possible, bruises on bruises but I would most definitely do it again, well maybe I’d avoid Electroshock Therapy and Arctic Enema second time round!!  It was so much fun and for an excellent cause’

Carl Turbitt said: ‘What amazing team work, we all worked well together to overcome fears to enable us to complete obstacles we did not think we could complete. Great camaraderie with fellow team members and other tough mudders !!’

And the team celebrate at the finish of Tough Mudder 2015!!
