Up Hill and Down Dale running – now that’s love!

Jacquelyn tired but happy!

Loving daughter, Jacquelyn Horton, was so impressed with the support that the Head and Neck Department at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital gave to her father when he was diagnosed with cancer of the larynx in September 2011, that she wanted to raise funds for Get A-Head.  She decided to run a marathon,  not your usual run of the mill town or city marathon, but the Snowdonia Marathon in October 2012.  This is considered one of the most difficult marathon courses in the UK, albeit, probably one of the most beautiful.

Jacquelyn raised a fantastic £650 for the Charity and despite being exhausted at the end Jacquelyn says it really was worth it .
