A team of six runners have completed the London Marathon to raise £ 11,000 for Get A-Head. Chris Coulson and Thomas Church also broke a Guinness World Record for fastest marathon as a two person outfit. Chris, an ENT Consultant at the Queen Elizabeth hospital, finished the race with Tom, his brother-in-law, in 4 hours, 21 minutes and 22 seconds as a horse and jockey.
Chris, from Birmingham, had this to say after his successful record breaking marathon:
“After missing out on the world record for fastest marathon dressed as a human organ, an ear, last year, I wanted to push myself again for a new challenge in aid of raising funds for Get A-Head. I’m absolutely ecstatic that I’ve not only finished and broken the world record for running as a pantomime horse, but I’ve raised over £2,000 for the wonderful charity that is Get A-Head. The only question we are left with is whats next?”
