Many of you will have seen our story last month about the team of Unilever staff who cycled from Leatherhead to Gilwern to raise money in memory of their colleague Mel Jaggard.
If that wasn’t enough a team of six also decided to try a skydive to raise further funds.
Here’s a short report from them:
Saturday June 10 saw us arrive at Hinton Airfield ready for the team to take the 12,000ft leap only to find our plans scuppered by high winds.
However, determined not to give up, all six members of the team were able to re-book their skydive and more importantly, successfully completed it.
Thanks to the Miles4Mel cycling and skydiving teams – they have raised a fantastic £42,000 this year, with funds still coming in.
