On the weekend of June 3, Scott McGarry took on the Summer Wolf Run at Stanford Hall to raise funds to support our work.
The Wolf Run is Wild Running – a unique combination of three kinds of off-road running: mud runs, trail runs and obstacle runs. The event is a 10km run across raw natural terrain, including open ground, woodland, lakes and thick mud.
Running in a pack, or as a lone wolf, runners tackle a series of tough obstacles – both man-made and natural – designed to test their mental and physical strength, skill and stamina. Participants run, climb, jump, wade, crawl and swim through a course designed to challenge them on every level.
Thanks to Scott for taking on the challenge and raising a fantastic £245.
