Loch Park Adventure 1

Get A-Head would like to thank James, Janice, all the staff and local people who attend Loch Park Adventure Centre for their ongoing fundraising.   They have raised the fantastic sum of £3033.00 and this has been match funded by their employers Care UK giving a further £3000.

Janice told us: “We have made and sold cakes, made and sold lunches and breakfast rolls, chutney and jam; there is definitely a theme here – we like our food.  We have also had wonderful donations from friends and family”

Loch Park is an adventure park in Keith, Scotland, who, although open to the public, specialise in offering services to people with learning disabilities. They are also a day care centre with placements for people who come from around the local area with a learning disability or physical disability who want to learn new skills; from tree planting, rural skills, arts and crafts or wood work there is something for everyone to try.

All the activities are overseen by a team of highly qualified professionals, ensuring everything happens in a safe and controlled environment. They offer a great way for people of all abilities to have fun, meet new people and take on all sorts of new challenges.
