Anne-Marie Patrick of Get A-Head said: ‘We are so grateful for the support from our Team Get A-Head marathon runners. Many of them spent the long winter months training hard and all of them showed great determination and commitment in completing the event to raise money and awareness of head and neck diseases.

‘This wonderful team of 8 runners have raised a combined total of nearly £20,000, with the total still rising, which will allow Get A-Head to continue our aim to fight all forms of Head and Neck disease, with Research, Education and the purchase of Equipment that is considered above NHS provision, at the forefront.  We are very proud of them and thank each and every one for their support.’
