We are delighted to announce: Business & Sporting Luncheon, with Get A-Head: Friday 18th September 2026

Join us for the very first Get A-Head Sporting Luncheon, set in the heart of Warwickshire
We are proud to be hosting this event for the very first time, in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside at Swallows Nest Barn. We welcome you to join us for a very special afternoon in support of Get A-Head, be it entertaining clients, celebrating with colleagues, or making memories with family and friends.

The afternoon commences at 12.30pm, with quintessentially English canapes and cocktails from our friends at Ikoyi Chapmans, taken in the beautiful walled courtyard. We then move into the 19th century barn for a sumptuous three course luncheon, a rousing game of Heads or Tails and entertainment from James Haskell and Gail Emms.

We will also hear from those whom have been helped by Get A-Head and celebrate all that we do to make life better for those experiencing head and neck cancer.

The day concludes with a thrilling live auction conducted by Gail Emms, which will comprise a variety of lots, including the chance for you and a friend to play golf with Harry Redknapp and try your hand at Padel with Gail herself!

Our Sporting Stars

Two sports; two journeys, two exceptional reputations.

James Haskell – former Rugby Union player, England International and star of I’m a Celebrity!, Get me out of here! will join us to talk about all things Rugby, his learnings from competitive sport at the highest level and life after being a professional sportsperson.

Gail Emms, MBE, is a retired champion badminton player, having taken part in numerous Olympics and World Championships. Gail will talk about her life journey, her new love of Padel and growing up with her mother Janice Emms (née Barton), who played for the “then unofficial” England women’s national football team.

We are delighted to be able to host an insightful Q&A with two of England’s most respected and successful sportspeople in recent times, both of whom have diversified their careers post-sport and will be able to provide inspirational tales which can be applied to both business and wider life.

Tables of ten are priced at £1250 and we have limited availability, so do reach out should you wish to join us.

To secure your place, contact Katie Absalom on 07810 091909 or email katie@wildeandglorious.com

We look forward to seeing you there,

Tom Bromwich, Chair and Danni Heath, Director.
